2013: IT'S NOW PART OF VORS AND THE VA MTB SERIES. THE RACE IS USAC
SANCTIONED FOR THE FIRST TIME!! ALL RIDERS WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE A ONE DAY
LICENSE ($5) IF THEY ARE NOT USAC MEMBERS!
This is the 16th year of Lodi. The 12 Hours of Lodi race is part of the
Virginia
Off-Road Series. The race should NOT interfere with any other
endurance event this year, so get your teams together and come enjoy some awesome atmosphere and sweet single
track. If you have never done an endurance event or
it's your first time to race the Farm, we guarantee you will have a BLAST!
And like many past years, the race will be fueled with amazing prizes by no other
than THE BIKE STOP!!! A HUGE thanks to
B.O.B.!!! Make sure to check out his store - it is sweet especially with all
the renovations that they made!
Three and two person teams and solo endurance riders will
race from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M. Saturday,
May 4 (this is a NEW race time - we'll try it this year - if it
sucks, then I'll change it back to 12 Noon to Midnight in 2014). We will set course to
provide ~1 hour lap times. Most complete laps started before midnight
wins. Primitive, but beautiful camping will be permitted on site (BYO water,
electricity, etc.).
The timing of this event should make for an awesome
weekend of camping and celebrating post race. There will be porta potties - why would you want
showers or warmed toilet seats anyway, right?
